Everything you need to know to get the most out of your visit!
Where is it?
1201 S Figueroa St
Los Angeles, CA 90015
Where Do I Park?
There is no street parking, but there are plenty options in lots. My recommendation is to park in the South/ West Hall for only $20. Some lots on the streets may cost more or less, but you would have to walk a good distance to get to the convention.
How do I get tickets?
The website is the easiest way to purchase tickets. Click the button below to be directed to the site.
Should you buy a day or all three? Honestly, getting all three days would be the recommended choice. This is because there is so much to see and so much to do. Each day has different panels, especially on the main stage. If you can only make one day, I suggest looking at the schedule to make sure you see the panel desired.
What do I bring?
Its always best to be prepared! I have made a list of things to bring with you:
- Money: there are lots of things to buy (comic books, toys, souvenirs, clothing, etc.)
- Backpack: you will be accumulating lots of cool stuff, why not have a bag to hold it all
- Snacks: need to snack until lunch time, got stay fueled for all the action
- Water: got to stay hydrated and you will get thirsty
- Camera: there is a lot to see and you will want to take lots of pics with your friends and others, especially other cosplayers
What to do while I am here? I do not want to miss anything!
The best way to plan your visit, is to print the schedule! It is best to jot down the times of the panels you want to see first before you go exploring.
I found that the most popular ones tend to have long lines before the panel starts. Get to the door early, some times, the very most popular panel, you want to get there 30 minutes before it is scheduled to start. It is definitely worth the wait however. There may be a time that two panels you want to see is in the same room, you can ask to stay seated until the next one.
In between panels, hit the floor! Artist lane is my favorite. You are able to meet with the artists of many genres and some of them will draw for you! There is much art to purchase as well. Plenty of Pops to collect, contests to participate in, clothes to try on and buy and much more.
What about Costumes!?
If you love to dress up, then wear costumes! There are a few rules, mostly if the costume has weapons, other than that let your imagination run wild!
Please read the policy carefully before bringing any replica weapons, or else you will not be able to attend. This link will take you directly to the weapons rules page: http://comikazeexpo.com/weapons-policy
